A basic education is a fundamental human right, but a good education is a privilege.
Two generations of the Timmington family are fortunate enough to have been educated at the Royal Grammar School Worcester (RGSW). Founded in 685, RGSW is the fifth oldest school in the United Kingdom and reputedly the sixth oldest in the world. Whilst ‘Outstanding and Excellent’ academic education is taken for granted, it is its pastoral care and co-curricular ethos that sets RGSW apart from most independent schools and ultimately distinguishes its alumni from others in both work and life.
Griffin-Woodhouse Limited is proud to support RGSW and the local community by sponsoring the development of a new ‘International Hockey Centre’. Furthermore, our accompanying donation to the ‘A R Wheeler Bursary Fund’ will enable pupils to access a privileged education their families could not otherwise afford.
